Structural Concrete Repair
The durability and integrity of concrete can be compromised for a variety of reasons and this may have a detrimental effect on its structural capabilities. Dependant upon service conditions and environmental exposure “concrete cancer” and spalling due to reinforcement bar corrosion may be active. This may result in the necessity to carry out repair to concrete elements to reinstate its structural integrity. Depending upon final requirements and system design, it may also be possible to install a suitable cathodic protection system to a structure with a minimum of disruption or downtime to normal operations.
The repair work generally involves breaking out the deteriorated concrete, refurbishment or replacement of the steel reinforcement and reinstatement of the repair mortar to match the original profile. In some instances there is also a need for additional protection such as the installation of cathodic protection or the application of a protective coating. AFS Logicwall System
The AFS Logicwall system consists of a lightweight bonded wall panel that is erected on site by our trained installers. Once braced into position, reinforcement steel is installed into the hollow panel along with any necessary electrical and plumbing services. The wall panel is then core-filled with concrete for structural integrity. The panel joints can then simply be set with a skim coating prior to painting of internal walls or the application of texture coatings for exterior walls.
The system greatly increases the efficiency in the erection of structural walling along with accommodating the installation of other services prior to the concrete core filling of the panel. The speed of installation and the removal of “wet trades” makes this a cost effective construction technique. Congestion and disruption on site due to cranage is significantly reduced in comparison to tilt panel erection as the lightweight panels are installed by hand. Site disruption and congestion due the extended curing time required for concrete tilt up panels is also minimized.

Cathodic Protection
Ongoing corrosion of steel reinforcement and ancillary equipment can result in the deterioration of a concrete structure through concrete cancer and spalling. Due to limited accessibility, service environment or ongoing environmental exposure (or a combination of all of these) it may not be possible to undertake conventional protective coating or concrete repair works on a regular basis.
The installation of a suitable Cathodic Protection system ensures the elimination or reduction of corrosion activity. Both Sacrificial Anode Cathodic Protection (SACP) and Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) systems can control the corrosion activity of the reinforcement steel through electro-chemical techniques.

Waterproof Membrane Systems
Damage by water and moisture ingress over time can have a severely detrimental effect on the integrity, performance and ongoing service life of a wide variety of structures. Given that the deterioration may occur in differing environments and conditions there is a selection of waterproofing systems and moisture tolerant products available to ensure all performance criteria are met.
Depending upon final requirements, a specified water proofing membrane system may be a "sheet" membrane that can be loose laid, self adhered or torch applied in single and multiple layers, or a "liquid" system that can be roller or spray applied over a prepared substrate in a multiple layers.
The correct selection, installation and application of the specified waterproof membrane system is absolutely critical. The ongoing good performance of the membrane reduces the necessity for costly repairs due to water damage as well as increased maintenance costs due to deteriorating structures.

Precision Grouting
